The reaction of LaNi5 with Cu powder during sintering at high temperature was examined in order to obtain better conductivity and ductility. Pressurized and forged copper-LaNi5 pellets were investigated by optical metallography, DTA, XRD and TEM. The need for heat treatment after pressing and/or forging is vital to obtain good diffusion bonding between the copper particles and to improve the material strength. No interaction between La, Ni and Cu were observed after heating at 1173 K but a very stable La2O3 phase was created around the LaNi5 particle. Rolling up to 85% reduction showed good ductility. 相似文献

The process of mixing and solid-liquid mass transfer in a one-fifth scale water model of a 100-ton Creusot-Loire Uddeholm
(CLU) converter was investigated. The modified Froude number was used to relate gas flow rates between the model and its protoype.
The influences of gas flow rate between 0.010 and 0.018 m3/s and bath height from 0.50 to 0.70 m on mixing time were examined. The results indicated that mixing time decreased with

The redox behavior of titanium in CaO-SiO2-TiO

melts was investigated using a slag-gas equilibrium technique. Titanium partitioning between Ti3+ and Ti4+ valency states and the ratio of activity coefficients of TiO1.5 and TiO2 were determined as functions of oxygen partial pressure, temperature, and slag composition. The equilibrium experiments were
carried out at temperatures between 1783 and 1903 K under CO-CO2-Ar gas atmosphere with oxygen partial pressure ranging from 10−12 to 10−7 atm (1.01×10−10 kPa to 1.01×10−5 kPa). The cathode-active materials, layered Li[Ni0.333Co0.333Mn0.293Al0.04]O2−zFz (0 ≤ z ≤ 0.1), were synthesized from a sol–gel precursor at 900 °C in air. The influence of Al–F co-substitution on the structural and electrochemical properties of the as-prepared samples was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and electrochemical experiments. The results showed that Li[Ni0.333Co0.333Mn0.293Al0.04]O2−zFz has a typical hexagonal structure with a single phase, the particle sizes of the samples tended to increase with increasing fluorine content. It has been found that Li[Ni0.333Co0.333Mn0.293Al0.04]O1.95F0.05 showed an improved cathodic behavior and discharge capacity retention compared to the undoped samples in the voltage range of 3.0–4.3 V. The electrodes prepared from Li[Ni0.333Co0.333Mn0.293Al0.04]O1.95F0.05 delivered an initial discharge capacity of 158 mAh−1 g and an initial coulombic efficiency is 91.3%, and the capacity retention at the 20th cycle was 94.9%. Though the F-doped samples had lower initial capacities, they showed better cycle performances compared with F-free samples. Therefore, this is a promising material for a lithium-ion battery. 相似文献

At the shipyards, the aluminium alloy 5083 is welded with a multi-pass sequence using the metal inert gas technique. If, while checking the weld integrity either after welding or during service, defects are detected in the vicinity of the weldment, repairs are usually employed to extend the service life.
The repair method involves removal of the upper passes, depending on the thickness and re-welding under the same conditions.
